Sometime ago, I did a three day detox using unfiltered apple juice. While it did do a great job, I felt the additional sugar, which made the experience more enjoyable, wasn’t all that good for me.

Thanks for your reply. You’re right- a juice fast can be wonderfully therapeutic, but it can also be high in sugars. This can be difficult for people with blood sugar regulation problems. The detox diet we do at CHWB is a food and nourishement based cleanse with a heavy emphasis on supporting the liver and the organs of elimination. For some people, I do recommend a 3-day veggie or juice cleanse somewhere in the middle of the 21-28 day program, but this really depends on the individual. The main goal of our type of liver support and detox diet is to give the body rest from all the things that may burdening the body and to give all the nutrients and support to naturally cleanse and heal.
